Retrofitting - Electrical Part

Once the mechanical and construction operations have been completed. The important stage of refurbishing the electrical part begins. Cables, motors, relays and measurement systems represent the machine’s nervous system and must find their rightful home within it.

This stage is also very important at regulatory level: the machine on which retrofitting is carried out was designed in compliance with past laws and rules. It is GLM’s duty to make the correct choices in order to make sure the machine can be used in the present day.
