Retrofitting - Overview

Retrofitting means adding new technologies and features to machines that are dated, some more than others, the aim being to improve the performance of the machine itself.

At GLM, this concept takes shape thanks to significant interventions on the machines that then get a new lease of life and can operate offering superior performance.

The retrofitting operations carried out by GLM start from the structure of the machine, which is completely disassembled, then involve the replacement of worn or deteriorated components and carry on through to the complete refurbishment of the electrical/electronic part of the machine with the relative numerical control systems.
